The first commercial battery storage park, with a capacity of 60 MW and 120 MWh, is currently under construction near Stary Trakai. The project will include the installation of eight battery storage units equipped with AC/DC converters. These units will be connected through the newly constructed 110/30 kV Pilialaukis substation to the nearby 110/10 kV Šventininkai substation.
